Ep. 52: Inuyasha destroys Gatenmaru but loses control after demonic transformation

Upon completing his demonic transformation, Inuyasha breaks free from his cocoon and kills Gatenmaru. However, he loses self-control and begins killing indiscriminately. Sesshomaru arrives and confirms the accuracy of Bokusen'on's words by assessing his brother's immense power. Inuyasha eventually reverts to his hanyō state, where he suffers from deep agony over the destruction he caused to the village and the lives he took while in his demon form.
