Ep. 56: Miroku and Sango confront a demon princess stealing youth in a misty forest

Miroku and Sango are tasked with eliminating a demon masquerading as a beautiful princess who has abducted villagers and drained their life force. Upon entering a spirit-shielded forest, the pair is separated. Miroku is invited into the princess’s mansion, while Sango discovers the aged victims of the demon’s theft. Although Miroku appears destined to become the next target, he successfully resists the seduction and liberates the princess’s spirit from the coyote demon that stole it, enabling her to move on. Sango defeats the demon, but her Hiraikotsu weapon is cracked in the process. The episode concludes with Miroku and Sango nearly sharing a romantic moment, which ends abruptly when he touches her rear, resulting in a slap.
