The following day, Shiroe explains that Landers will compete for adventurers' power, so he proposes rules to protect the Round Table from individual guild approaches. Akatsuki begins reconnaissance in preparation. Meanwhile, the training camp reaches the Forest of Lagranda and splits into groups. Minori struggles to speak her mind among Touya, Rundellhous Kode, Isuzu, and Serara. The group encounters monsters to test their skills but is quickly overpowered by the next wave, forcing a tactical retreat. At the Palace of Eternal Ice, Krusty introduces himself to Rayneshia.
