Miki becomes depressed after hearing Michael claim Yuu has a new girlfriend and kissed him. She tries to contact Yuu but fails. Meanwhile, Yuu is sightseeing in New York City with Bill when he encounters An. Although she lives further north, An visits the city regularly for violin lessons and has recovered well from her surgery. Yuu and Bill invite her to join their trip to Brian's family beach house on Long Island. Jinny views this excursion as a significant opportunity to win Yuu's affection. During the journey, Bill and An connect over the shared experience of loving someone who loves another person.
