The Barracuda docks in Industria, where Conan is jailed for assaulting Mosley, who is visiting the vessel. Lepka threatens Lana to reveal her grandfather's location. Mosley, impressed by Conan's boldness, decides to keep him. However, when soldiers arrive to retrieve Conan, he manages to escape custody. He navigates through the city of Industria and eventually locates Lana. This sequence introduces Lepka's antagonistic behavior toward Lana while highlighting Conan's resilience and his determination to find her despite his imprisonment and subsequent flight from the ship's authorities.
