Jimsy and Conan board the vessel, but Jimsy’s intoxication leads to their discovery by the captain. After being apprehended during their escape attempt, Captain Dice offers them a choice: accept corporal punishment or leave. Jimsy loses consciousness, forcing Conan to endure the beatings for both of them. Consequently, they remain aboard and perform various menial tasks. The narrative concludes with the ship departing on its voyage toward Industria.
