Aired on February 19, 1991

Kaibara and Yamaoka prepare for the Ultimate VS Supreme menu challenge by borrowing dark green glazed plates from Touyama to showcase the white flesh of rays. Kaibara opts for a French style, while Yamaoka chooses a European approach. During the dinner, Kaibara serves ray flesh cooked with vinegar, which gains popularity, followed by Yamaoka presenting a dish using the ray's fin. The judges argue over the merits of each creation until film director Fusamoto interrupts, stating he now believes rays and sharks can be delicious. Touyama declares the challenge a tie but fails to persuade Kaibara and Yamaoka to reconcile their differences.
