Hachimaki endures mockery from colleagues in the Debris Section and Technora for his dream of winning the lottery to buy a spaceship. Meanwhile, Tanabe persists with her zero gravity training, and Hachimaki’s friend Kho Cheng-Shin celebrates his promotion to orbital shuttle co-pilot. The pair is subsequently dispatched on a debris retrieval mission to recover a derelict satellite. During the operation, Tanabe accidentally activates the satellite’s maneuvering system, placing it on a collision course with Cheng-Shin’s shuttle. To prevent a disaster, Hachimaki risks his life to manually activate the satellite’s engines, successfully saving the passengers aboard the orbital shuttle.
