Hachimaki, Tanabe, and Fee embark on a lunar holiday aboard a ferry co-piloted by Cheng-Shin. During the journey, Tanabe misidentifies an actor as a criminal, leading Hachimaki to participate in a film scene before the crew’s equipment is seized due to lack of permits. Meanwhile, a indebted couple plans to murder their daughter before committing suicide. A pickpocket steals Tanabe’s wallet and the poison intended for the child, subsequently taking the girl hostage. With assistance from Cheng-Shin, Hachimaki rescues the hostage. The traumatic event ultimately restores the parents' desire to live.
