Scientist Cindy Campbell attempts to capture Squid Girl, convinced she is an extraterrestrial. Cindy brainwashes Squid Girl into believing her alien origins, but the squid’s hunger breaks the spell. Squid Girl then visits Eiko’s school, mistakenly identifying it as a military base. She takes the principal hostage and broadcasts invasion plans over the PA system until Eiko intervenes. Additionally, a narrative unfolds where Eiko raises a miniature Squid Girl as a pet, living with her until Eiko passes away from old age. This entire sequence is revealed to be a dream experienced by Sanae, who feels envious of not being part of that peaceful scenario.
