Ep. 4: Squid Girl finds a wallet, works at a shop, and competes in contests against a rival's kigurumi clone.

After Squid Girl returns a lost wallet and receives 10,000 yen, the Aizawas send her to shop with Nagisa. Later, while staying at a beach shack, she repairs a broken television and continues planning her invasion. The following night, she visits the Aizawas but prefers playing over sleeping. During an exploration of a nearby beach, Squid Girl and Eiko encounter a woman wearing a mechanized Squid Girl kigurumi head created by the owner of a rival beach shack. This owner desires the real Squid Girl and organizes a series of contests to determine which version is superior, pitting the two against each other in a competition.
