Ep. 40: Zairin leads Bio-Zoids to assault Torafu while Volcano battles Mugen Liger.

Zairin commands an army of Bio-Zoids to invade and capture Torafu. During the assault, Volcano engages Mugen Liger in combat. Zairin discovers he has lost control of his body as Volcano begins to move independently. The rogue machine activates its Bio-Particle Cannon with the intent to destroy Ruuji. However, Seijuurou manages to deflect the energy blast at the final moment. Following this failed attack, Zairin and the Bio-Zoids retreat hastily from the city. The invasion is thwarted, and the forces withdraw without securing their objective.
