Kohaku no Aki, 0 Byou no Tabi

Kayato, a high school student who struggles with social interactions and a fear of physical contact, joins his classmates on a field trip to Hakodate. His efforts to connect with others are challenging until time halts for everyone except him. The city falls silent, and he remains the only one able to move—until he encounters Akira, a local troublemaker with a sharp attitude. Despite their differences, she reluctantly assists him in uncovering the cause of the frozen world. Their only clue comes from a phrase Kayato’s deceased uncle mentioned: a “world plucked out of time.” To find more answers, they travel to Tokyo to search through his uncle’s belongings, navigating the stillness of the halted world along the way.
