Maria suggests kicking Kou and Hoshi off the bridge to allow Nino to make a wish upon shooting stars, as Kou is too afraid to call his father. Meanwhile, Seki learns the project is halted and heads to the bridge, only to find his pants stolen and placed at the top. He encounters Nino, who explains Kou’s positive changes. Kou eventually calls Seki’s phone, which remains in the trousers Nino refuses to return. As Seki departs and Nino answers, she hears Kou promise to stay with her forever.
