Aired exclusively on MBS, this episode takes place on New Year's Eve when Chiku-tan and Chiku-rin prepare mochi. Binchou-tan suffers from a cold and dreams of her grandmother, feeling lonely until Kunugi-tan, Ren-tan, and Chiku-tan arrive to care for her. The following day, Aroe visits a shrine where her fortune indicates that something changing her luck lies to the northwest. She discovers the group in that direction. Meanwhile, Binchou-tan writes a letter to her grandmother in the snow, expressing her feelings during the holiday season.
