Binchou-tan visits the school and meets Kunugi-tan. During a writing lesson, a flying beetle startles Kunugi-tan, who dislikes insects. Subsequently, a stag beetle clings to Kunugi-tan's dress, leaving Binchou-tan uncertain how to warn her without causing panic. The insect departs before Kunugi-tan discovers it. The following day, Binchou-tan delivers a letter to Kunugi-tan. Meanwhile, Chiku-tan attempts to sell medicine on the street with poor results. Ren-tan intervenes, guiding her to a more profitable location. Chiku-tan sells all her items and purchases dango for Ren-tan as gratitude. While sharing the treat, they encounter Aroe, who is suffering from dehydration.
