Ban, Ginji, Shido, and Emishi divide their forces to confront the bodyguards. Ryuu anticipates financial gain from an art auction and plans to use the Aphrodite to rule the world. Hera recalls Ginji’s belief that lost things, including happiness, can be recovered. Ban battles Akabane with full power, while Shido defeats Shakuryuu, who uses flaming fists. Emishi defeats Hyouku, who wields an icy sword. Ginji encounters Yukihiko and Natsuhiko, who are the same person with dissociative identity disorder. Yukihiko represents Miroku’s reasonable side, while Natsuhiko embodies his bloodthirsty nature. Natsuhiko fights Ginji but is seemingly defeated. Yukihiko then reappears, using his ring blade to cause a massive implosion of the surrounding structure.
