The target’s security detail and the bank’s location initially seem to prevent a successful shot. Golgo 13 approaches Ash, a struggling artist living alone in an apartment block opposite the bank. He purchases Ash’s entire collection, providing enough money to clear his debts and relocate to Florida. Golgo 13 then buys the apartment building from the landlord. As Hewitt approaches the bank, Golgo 13 uses the purchased structure as a vantage point. He eliminates Hewitt with a sniper shot before the resulting debris obscures the view of the surrounding guards. Ash begins his new life in Florida, unaware of the assassination that enabled his departure.

The millionaires flee Rome on the first plane to South Africa, protected by the Sicilian mafia. However, they are shot dead upon arrival on the tarmac by another plane that overtook them from Rome after refueling in Nairobi.

They retreat to a hotel and engage in sexual activity, only to face another wave of attackers. A pursuit forces them into the sewers, where the woman confesses she is a CIA assassin responsible for the diplomat's death. She explains that her pursuers are targeting her and reveals she secured Golgo 13's assistance without payment. After she eliminates the remaining hunters, she attempts to shoot Golgo, but he reacts faster and kills her first.

Jan 31, 2009Duke shoots two moose in Canada, exceeding the quota, and is arrested by park rangers. Thugs attack him at the station, but he kills them and kidnaps a female accomplice. The CIA hired Duke to stop double agent McCord from defecting. Duke leaves the woman in a log cabin, burning her clothes to prevent escape in the cold, and gives a local girl a coat for her care. The woman steals the coat and escapes with McCord on a snowmobile. She realizes the escape was too easy and that her red coat makes her visible against the snow. Golgo 13 uses this visibility to shoot through multiple targets, killing both the woman and McCord with his powerful rifle.

Upon the king's arrival, Golgo fires a warning shot to alert security and struggles to recall his target. He eventually remembers that a priest hired him to eliminate Father Vernon, a terrorist leader posing as a clergyman. Golgo shoots and kills Vernon, but Krista witnesses the act. Before Golgo can eliminate her, a terrorist thug shoots Krista. Golgo dodges and kills the attacker, leaving security forces to discover only Krista's body at the scene.

Golgo discovers Ou Kyouson, a Chinese expat leader in Taiwan with an extensive intelligence network, who hires Golgo to assassinate Rockford because Rockford is squeezing the expats for resources. Rockford flees to his Swiss villa and contacts the US president. The president warns Golgo to leave Switzerland or face all law enforcement agencies in exchange for ensuring his rigged re-election. Golgo shoots Rockford from a boat just outside the Swiss border.

The chemist betrays him by sharing Golgo's vital statistics with an FSB contact who offers a large reward for the assassin's death. Unable to move easily, Golgo must confront the highly prepared professional waiting for him.

Finally, Golgo eliminates the individual responsible for the assassination plot, completing his mission.

She later realizes Golgo is innocent and tries to stop the assassin, but he refuses to abort the mission. During a car chase, Golgo shoots the assassin, resulting in a crash that kills Danielle.

The American officer subsequently captures Golgo and attempts to recruit him as an advisor. Refusing to comply with these demands, Golgo kills the officer and the accompanying guards to ensure his freedom.

Duke, Golgo 13’s alias, suffers a severe right arm injury and seeks treatment from Dr. Cutter. He discovers Cutter is one of Wassant’s orphans and realizes Stantz breached their agreement by mentioning the assassin. Golgo 13 assassinates Wassant using a modified left-handed M16, then kills Stantz with an unmodified rifle, leaving both weapons at the scenes. Dr. Cutter theorizes Golgo 13 used his left hand to honor the debt owed to Cutter for healing his arm. The narrative concludes with Golgo 13 departing for the airport after completing the double homicide.
