Ai manipulates Tsugumi by invoking her mother Ayumi’s death to urge her to send father Hajime to Hell. Her friends disclose that Ai’s position as Hell Girl serves as a divine punishment. Hajime breaks down emotionally regarding Ayumi, prompting Tsugumi to address him as Daddy for the first time and declare her love. She explains that Sentaro felt remorse for his role in Ayumi’s death, leading him to construct a mountain temple in her honor. Ai calms down, destroys the temple, and releases Hajime and Tsugumi. She then resumes her duties as Hell Girl.
