Tsugumi’s visions identify nurse Kanako Sakuragi as Ai’s next target. Kanako is kind, sweet, and well-liked by patients and coworkers. Hajime finds no reason for her to be sent to Hell. However, she is sent there by an unknown drug addict who commits suicide immediately after. Hajime and Tsugumi are shaken by this meaningless vengeance. Ai doubts her job after this request, saddened to ferry an innocent soul to Hell. The text notes that Ai saves all other children and innocents offscreen.
