Jean, an outsider, establishes a camp near Panja's jungle and captures Tony with a rope. He attempts to prove he does not intend to kill Tony by treating a wound on his leg. Kimba frees Tony, causing Jean to become fascinated by the white lion who protects the gazelle from harm. Jean remains wary and keeps his distance from the lion's territory. Bubu and Toto observe this situation and seek to exploit the humans' presence. They plot to drive Kimba out of the jungle again by violating its rules. Their strategy involves using Kimba's weakness for violence to justify keeping humans out of Panja's jungle. They consistently lure the humans closer by provoking both Jean and Sylvia to maintain their plan.
