Ash and his companions arrive back in Pallet Town, where they encounter Brock, who refuses to explain his departure from Valencia Island. Meanwhile, Team Rocket launches an attack on Professor Oak’s laboratory, attempting to steal every Pokémon by vacuuming up all the Pokéballs. Their scheme specifically includes the GS Ball, which Professor Oak had been working on. The group must intervene to retrieve the stolen Pokémon and protect the special ball from being taken by the thieves.
