Ep. 6: Mitsuha faces threats from a chef and learns about early marriage customs

A chef for Baron Turk demands fresh fish from Mitsuha’s store, threatening her when she refuses to break her special order policy. Iris and Claus intervene, promising to report the incident to the Baron. Iris then takes Mitsuha to their home for dinner, where Beatrice insists Mitsuha cater her debutante ball in two years. Claus enjoys the food and special effects, while Mitsuha lies about her suppliers. She is shocked to learn that girls become engaged at ten and married by fifteen, making her, as a high school graduate, older than the typical bride. Beatrice questions Mitsuha about her ideal husband, revealing Iris’s plot to marry her off. Later, a wanted murderer hides in Mitsuha’s store but is caught by four bounty hunters from the Mercenary Guild. Seeing an opportunity for RPG experiences, Mitsuha asks to hire the mercenaries for a job.
