Sonic is confined to an isolation cell on Prison Island. Chris and Tanaka board a swan boat to rescue him, while Amy and Tails travel to the location using the X-Tornado. Meanwhile, Eggman attempts to infiltrate the island again, accompanied by Shadow and Rouge. Their shared objective is to obtain the Chaos Emeralds. This creates a complex situation where multiple groups converge on the same location for different reasons, with some aiming to save Sonic and others seeking the powerful gems.
