Upon returning, Suzuka departs after Honoka approaches the group. Honoka expresses concern for Yamato, who confesses his feelings for her for the first time, leaving her confident. Yasunobu later reveals he is aware of their relationship and suggests Yamato advance it, causing Yamato to stutter and refuse. When Honoka visits Yamato’s home to cook, he suddenly thinks of Suzuka. Attempting to convince himself that he likes Honoka, Yamato allows his impulse to drive his actions, which results in Honoka running away in fear.
