Ep. 17: Suzuka Accuses Yamato of Two-Timing Honoka During Karaoke Session
Aired on October 27, 2005

After practice, Suzuka lends an umbrella to Miki instead of Yamato. The following day, Honoka introduces Yamato to her former mentor, pop idol Shirakawa Nana. At a karaoke venue, Suzuka observes Yamato singing with a blonde woman and accuses him of cheating on Honoka. The misunderstanding is resolved when Honoka and Miki arrive. Yamato initially refuses to sing, but Suzuka challenges him to perform a duet. He stops midway when he notices Honoka’s nervousness, prioritizing her feelings over the performance. Later, Nana analyzes Yamato’s behavior and concludes that he is merely acting as a compliant boyfriend rather than being authentic. Consequently, Yamato resolves to make a greater effort to become a better partner for Honoka.
