Aired on November 10, 2005

Yamato blames Yasunobu for his relationship troubles, then returns home to find Suzuka apologizing and taking responsibility. Realizing his own fault, Yamato visits Honoka to offer a gift, but the visit turns into an argument about their relationship. Honoka proposes a breakup, which Yamato accepts. She asks to keep the present and gives him a goodbye kiss. Later, Yuuka and a drunk Megumi interrupt Yamato’s silent grief to offer counsel. When Suzuka approaches him afterward, Yamato lies, claiming he forced the breakup because Honoka believed he still loved her. This deception causes Suzuka to hate him.
