Menator abducts Zia using a flying machine equipped with a heat ray aimed at Mayan warriors. Esteban, Tao, and Mendoza pursue in the Condor, but Mendoza crashes the aircraft into the jungle after Esteban and Tao leap onto the Olmec craft. The Olmec soldiers exit to search for survivors, allowing Esteban and Tao to infiltrate and defeat the pilots. Tao takes control of the machine while Esteban attempts to free Zia. They fly over a lake, where Esteban breaks a window, enabling both him and Zia to jump into the water for their escape.
