Ep. 35: The children face Gaspard and Gomez at the Olmec base while Menator traps them.
After landing the Condor, the children are confronted by Gaspard and Gomez, who force them to guide the group into the Olmec base, believing the secrets of the cities of gold are hidden there. Inside, they encounter a hologram of Menator that leads them into a trap. Mendoza arrives and drives off the guards during the ensuing scuffle. Kalmec abducts Zia, and Menator threatens to kill her unless Esteban reveals the location of the Cities of Gold. Esteban reluctantly complies, but Menator refuses to free Zia and escapes in a massive flying machine as the base begins to collapse. The Doctor, Marinche, and Tatiola appear to fall to their doom when the walls collapse. The episode includes a mini-documentary featuring the Angel of Independence, Templo Mayor, "St. James" Catholic church, and Lake Xochimilco in Mexico City.
