Ep. 33: Zia visits dying Papacamayo who reveals gold cities location and Olmec threat

The group lands their condor to reunite with friends, but Zia discovers Papacamayo is mortally wounded and rushes to his side. On his deathbed, he recounts how Pizarro invaded his village and took his young daughter as a gift for the Spanish Princess. He discloses the location of the cities of gold, situated at the intersection of four lines connected by the three cities of the Serpent God and the Mountain of the Burning Shield. He warns that a great treasure must not fall into Olmec hands, as they could use it to destroy the world. Meanwhile, Wynococha travels to other Mayan villages to seek assistance in forming an army against the Olmecs. The episode concludes with a mini-documentary examining traditional clothing styles and mask-making techniques in rural Guatemala.
