AGS inspector Theresia Strauss implies to Fuyuhiko Oguma that Haruki caused the previous mission failure. Doubt spreads through the Blademen unit after Norma proposes a double agent sabotaged their anti-Hounds operation. Haruki meets Ulla talking with Theresia in a ruined church. He then visits AGS headquarters, where he finds a secret flower garden his father built to remember his deceased mother. Shortly after this visit, Haruki is killed inside the building. Kariya and Saiki are the only people present who witness his death.
