A broken water pipe forces Wagnaria to close, leading Popura to suggest an onsen visit. Souta initially refuses due to umeboshi duties, but Nazuna agrees to handle them. Kyouko oversleeps, so Satou encounters the group while returning DVDs and offers a ride. His car runs out of fuel, prompting Kyouko to arrive; the girls take her vehicle, leaving Satou behind. Souta and Souma join the girls, with Souta assigned to Inami, Souma to Popura and Yamada, and Kyouko to Yachiyo. At day's end, Inami reflects on Souta's kindness despite her rudeness. Both Sōta and Souma are driven back home by Satou.
