Louise discovers this plan, leading to further tension. Seeking to address Saito's potential, Louise takes him to town to purchase a weapon. However, Kirche presents a superior sword as a gift, escalating the conflict between the couple. The situation becomes more complex when Louise's chosen blade reveals itself to be Derflinger, a sentient talking sword, adding another layer of complication to Saito's daily life.
