A person finds themselves surrounded by individuals in kimonos after waking up near a river. Upon checking their reflection, they see a young child—themselves. They wash up in Yoshiwara, an area described as gaudy. The people observed through latticed windows appear to be men. The child is taken in by an elderly man from a brothel known as the Amazuki Brothel.
