Hydra, a fully robotic space facility, generates superior energy until hackers from Gazette Technology Development attempt to steal its secrets. Their intrusion causes a catastrophic system failure, triggering explosions throughout the plant. The human intruders activate emergency protocols and flee, falsely blaming the machines for the disaster. Left behind, the robots face imminent destruction in ten minutes. When Dr. Ochanomizu requests a rescue mission, he is coldly denied with the statement that robots do not deserve saving. While the trapped machines wait for a rescue that never comes, Atom decides to intervene alone, heading to the facility to save the robotic workers from certain death.
