Miyu experiences her first Christmas at the Saionji residence, discovering that Kanata has never observed the holiday. This oversight is significant because the occasion coincides with his birthday. Kanata declines to participate due to religious convictions stemming from his father's role as a Buddhist monk. Hosho arrives in Japan and learns that Wanya and Ruu are aliens. He informs Kanata that celebrating Christmas is acceptable, then departs for Tibet. Following this guidance, Kanata and Miyu proceed to celebrate the holiday together with Ruu and Wannya.
