Goku engages in combat with Yajirobe, who proves to be a formidable warrior. Meanwhile, Roshi secures a refuge for his companions and departs with Tien and Chiaotzu to locate the Dragon Balls and halt King Piccolo. Bulma preserves Krillin within a freezing capsule. Although Goku initially suspects Yajirobe of aiding Tambourine, he realizes the warrior is truthful and honest. Cymbal targets Yajirobe’s Dragon Ball, leading to a contest of rock, paper, and scissors before their duel. Yajirobe ultimately defeats and kills Cymbal with a sword strike. King Piccolo senses the death of his subordinate at that moment.
