Emishi brings Ban and Shido to a safe house where Ban meets several girls. Emishi then strikes Shido unconscious with his Loulan Death Whip, though he hallucinates during the assault. Ban reveals he used Evil Eye upon Emishi's arrival, identifying him as a Makubex soldier after Fudou escaped. Ban and Shido fight Emishi, who eventually flees. The group discovers the IL is an implosion lens used for atomic bombs. They subsequently battle men controlled by the wire doll system. Kazuki leaves the pharmacy, revealing Gen works for Makubex. Meanwhile, Ginji attempts to escape Akabane but is caught, leading Akabane to locate the IL in the garbage disposal facility.
