Meanwhile, Juubei employs a forbidden technique using black needles at the Grand Canyon. Kazuki realizes these needles are magnetic and controlled by a black ore stone, though their use drains Juubei’s energy. Their intense fight triggers a flashback revealing Juubei’s clan protected Kazuki’s until the West Fuchouin-School burned down, leading them to the Limitless Fortress. Juubei recalls Makubex’s belief that Babylon City people cause events there. As Hevn and Shido arrive at the pharmacy to find Gen watching the battle, the conflict between white threads and black needles continues. Juubei is caught in an attack, prompting him to stab himself with the needles, causing Kazuki to wail before carrying him out of the virtual reality room.
