Murai, a Free Planets Alliance military police agent in Thanatos Starzone, travels to Econia to investigate the local situation. He conducts interviews with all individuals connected to the incident. Consequently, Barnaby Costea is arrested for embezzlement and causing deaths during a staged prisoner rebellion, while Fyodor Patrichev receives an unofficial reprimand. Additionally, Alex Cazerne arranges for Yang to be transferred back to Heinessen. Christopf von Köfenhiller is released from the Econia Internment Camp, granted Alliance citizenship, and awarded a military pension appropriate for his former rank of Captain in the Imperial Fleet.
