Yuuko Murai and her father relocate to an inherited farm, where neighbor Ryousuke Sekine offers eager assistance. After Sekine sabotages the crops to settle a family grudge, the farm fails and Yuuko’s father dies of alcoholism. Seeking revenge, Yuuko targets Sekine, but Hajime intervenes to prevent his punishment. This marks the first instance in the series where the intended victim is not sent to Hell, frustrating Ai’s companions who dislike Hajime’s interference. The episode concludes with an implication that Yuuko may eventually gain the opportunity to summon the Hell Girl, leaving her fate open to future events.
