Aine stays with Ayako until she wakes up, learning she is depressed. Sakuya clarifies he never intended to die, though he faces blame for the scandal and suicide rumors. Aine, aware Sakuya acted to protect her, feels like a burden and pleads with Ayako to stop troubling him. Aine collapses from stress, and Sakuya carries her to his flat to recover. She asks him to continue filming. Sakuya confesses his love for Aine alone. Ayako then announces to the press that she and Sakuya have broken up.
