Claire is transferred from the Control Section to the Debris Section, where Tanabe trains her while resenting Hachimaki's absence. Cheng-Shin pressures Tanabe to leave Hachimaki, insisting he needs solitude. Meanwhile, Hachimaki and Hakim participate in the second round of tests alongside two other candidates. They are sealed in a pod for ten days to assemble a Von Braun model. On the final day, a sudden power outage threatens the air supply, which is only sufficient for three people. With survival at stake, Hakim considers sacrificing one member. Ultimately, the group survives by lowering their body temperatures to reduce oxygen consumption, a strategy discovered by the rescue squad after the test concludes.
