Regretting his previous harsh remarks, Fumihiko attempts to apologize to Aka but inadvertently drives her further away due to feelings of inadequacy regarding her rising popularity. His colleague Hatakeda intervenes by taking him out for a night of drinking to lift his spirits. During this outing, they end up staying in the room adjacent to Aka and the staff of the new anime series she is currently voicing. In this setting, the two characters finally express their true feelings to one another, leading to the resolution of their conflict and the establishment of their romantic relationship.
