Ao Haru Ride

Yoshioka Futaba enters high school with the goal of completely changing her image and life. In junior high, her popularity led to being isolated by her female classmates, and a misunderstanding prevented her from expressing her feelings to Tanaka-kun, the only boy she ever liked. To avoid jealousy, she resolves to act as unrefined as possible. While maintaining this new persona, she unexpectedly runs into Tanaka-kun again, now known as Mabuchi Kou. He reveals that he once felt the same way about her but says their past connection can no longer exist. The question remains whether Futaba can continue holding onto feelings that were never fully realized.
