Uran is injured while attempting to stop Atom and Pluto from fighting, leaving Atom defenseless. Pluto hesitates to attack due to growing feelings but continues his mission. Tenma kidnaps Dr. Ochanomizu to draw Atom out, leading to a confrontation at Brocken Volcano. The battle begins between Atom and Pluto, who is expected to be stronger but struggles as his emotions weaken his power. Shadow, the creator of Pluto, introduces Dark Pluto, a heartless robot designed to eliminate Atom. Atom is hunted by Dark Pluto and faces a desperate crisis as the conflict escalates.
