A series of incidents involving the abduction of robots by other robots prompts Atom and his robot squad, the robot cops, to investigate on an artificial island. They discover a massive underground factory where Skunk dismantles captured robots to convert them into weapons for sale. Atom’s group enters the facility, unaware that this is part of Skunk’s plan to bury them. The squadron and the robot hunters become trapped underground within a high-voltage electromagnetic shield. As seawater floods the area, the robots face electrocution if immersed in the electrified water. Atom desperately attempts to convince the robot hunters that they are free to choose their own actions.
