Yukari organizes a field trip to Okinawa, exciting first-time traveler Chiyo. During the flight, Tomo and Kagura reveal their fear of flying. Upon arriving in Naha, the group visits Shureimon and Shuri Castle, admiring the shisa statues. At a hotel buffet, Tomo and Yomi engage in competitive eating while Chiyo and Osaka enjoy chanpurū. The next day, the girls visit Manzamo cliffs, where Chiyo suffers from acrophobia. Tomo recklessly lifts Chiyo over the railing, but Sakaki catches her just in time. Yukari joins the group for scuba diving. Later, the girls shop at Kokusai-dōri, where Tomo teases Yomi over chinsuko, Osaka shows interest in sata andagi, and Chiyo and Sakaki purchase plush shisa. Kaorin meets Sakaki, and Kimura wears a shirt similar to Kaorin's. The group then travels to Iriomote, where they observe warnings about Iriomote cats. Sakaki encounters a cat named Maya, successfully petting him despite her nervousness. She tearfully departs for Tokyo, promising to reunite with Maya someday.
