With summer break beginning, Tomo organizes a study trip to Chiyo's summer house, inviting Kaorin to join the group. The nine participants divide between Nyamo's new vehicle and Yukari's older car, with Sakaki accompanying Yukari to ease Kaorin's fears. While Tomo prioritizes beach activities over studying, the evening study session reveals academic gaps, including Nyamo's inability to solve a math problem and Yukari's impressive English speech. The next morning, Kaorin attempts to photograph Sakaki, but Tomo repeatedly blocks the lens. Meanwhile, a half-asleep Osaka tries to wake Yukari with a frying pan but enters the room holding a knife, terrifying the teacher. As the break ends, Tomo and Osaka return to class in a delusional state, prompting Kagura to knock them out to restore motivation, accidentally hitting Chiyo as well. Yukari subsequently arrives in a similar condition, causing Chiyo to react accordingly.
