During a rainy day, Chiku-tan creates a rain-walking device she names a chikuma, only to discover it is a takeuma that has already been invented. She goes for a walk and encounters Binchou-tan. The pair sit in an old car and engage in word games. When the sun emerges, they visit a bamboo grove. Meanwhile, Kunugi-tan admires a rainbow from her balcony.
